Ocean freight / Commercial intelligence
When a booking rate differs from a carrier agreement
Trace a discrepancy from contract version and effective date to booking facts, applicable rates, reviewer judgment, and commercial follow-up.
Foryn insights / Logistics decision guides
A rate in a contract, a tariff code on a worksheet, or a location in a tracking feed does not by itself tell a team what to do next. These guides examine the records, exceptions, and human review points behind consequential logistics decisions.
They reflect the product workflows behind Foryn Ocean, Foryn Trade, and Foryn Cargo. The examples are illustrative, not claims of customer deployment or measured results.
Three practical guides
Each guide names the source records, the question that cannot be answered by a single system status, and the evidence worth preserving before action.
Ocean freight / Commercial intelligence
Trace a discrepancy from contract version and effective date to booking facts, applicable rates, reviewer judgment, and commercial follow-up.
Trade / Classification review
Separate product facts, possible tariff headings, missing information, reference material, and the approval that belongs to a qualified reviewer.
Cargo / Delivery assurance
Review competing shipment events against the commitment at risk, and document the next recovery or customer-communication decision.
A shared operating principle
Logistics systems are good at collecting documents, transactions, and events. The harder work begins when those sources disagree or leave gaps. A decision-ready record should identify what was observed, which evidence supports it, what remains uncertain, who is accountable, and what action was approved.
That principle connects our three products. It does not replace freight expertise, licensed customs judgment, or operational authority; it helps the people responsible for those decisions inspect the same record and understand why the next step was chosen.
